Here is a starter list of 20 must-follow Twitter feeds– specifically those that will help students learn the craft and keep up with what journalists are debating, enjoying and attempting to understand on a daily basis. Some feature journalism, media and technology news. Others offer advice and job and internship listings. And still others are kept by journalists and big thinkers whose new media maxims, mindsets and methods are worth emulating. The must-follow feeds are listed in alphabetical order.
In a funny new post on its Flyby blog, The Harvard Crimson lays out a quick-hit list of “10 Things We Miss About the Nineties.” Among the entries: grunge, Will Smith being funny, and old-school Britney Spears.
The decision is apparently a pushback against the “prevalence of email quotes” appearing in articles.
The Princeton Review has released its annual listing of the biggest and best at colleges and universities nationwide. Along with rundowns of the top party schools, school athletic facilities, and student radio stations, the Review has named the best U.S. college newspapers.
